I made a rather large update to my DeviantArt gallery. I added my previous installments of Cowboys & Ninjas. But I also did some major organizational changes. I made good use of their folders. Moved a few things to scraps.
This is just amazing. This should be front and center on cnn.com with results like that! This face cream even restores your hair to its original color!
Some people like coffee. Others soda or energy drinks. Others still like their drinks to have a "proof" rating. Me? I like Iced Tea.
For me, here's how Iced Tea is done right:
Start with a Freshly brewed tea. Lipton has a bottled tea that isn't too bad, but is just a little too tart (probably from preservatives). The best brands are Luzianne (easy to find) or China Mist (common in restaurants).
Next, you need a glass. And I mean a glass that's made of glass. If you shop around you'll find just the right one. Nice, thick glass and a bit over 24oz.
Lastly, you need ice. No brainer? Maybe. But don't skimp. If your tea isn't cold yet, you'll need to pack that glass to the top. Maybe even take a sip and drop a couple more cubes in. If your tea is cold, you're still going to want to put 3/4th ice in your glass before pouring. Iced tea is best very cold!
That's it!
Sugar? Lemon? ... Honey? Pft... drink your iced tea strait up! If you think you don't like the taste, you're probably just used to lesser brands (Nestea? More like Nasty! ... Oh, sorry about that one.) or you've been served a glass that wasn't as fresh as it should have been.
This isn't a glass of wasabi juice. Once you've had a glass or two of good unsweetened iced tea, you won't want it any other way!
I've submitted a few pieces to my DeviantArt Gallery. Mostly characters and backgrounds from some animated promos I've done at my job. I may post the animations sometime. They're pretty cheesy, but the clients seem to like them.
There's pieces of these animations that I quite like, but other parts I'd like to improve on. I like to try and take something a step further in each one I do. At least in terms of illustration. I don't have the budget (or patience) with these to do much actual "animating" but I think I'm getting better with flash tricks to give things bit more motion and depth as I go.
On 6-6-06 (oooooo, spooky) a massive Haboob rolled through the Phoenix metro area. Estimated to be about 8,000 feet high, it really was quite the thing to see!
There's a great gallery of images (and video) on AZCentral's website. (Click the "See Pictures" link at the bottom.)
